KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) –Royals fans have a new way to celebrate their team and keep their bones nice and strong in the process.

Thanks to Shatto Dairy Farm, there is now a milk dedicated to the top team in the American League. The Osborn, MO, milk company is rolling out a blue French vanilla flavor inspired by the Kansas City Royals.

“We are so excited to offer blue milk in support of the Royals.  We love Kansas City and are huge baseball fans, thus we wanted to do something a bit fun to celebrate.” owner Barbara Shatto said. “The French Vanilla Milk is outstanding and we have gotten rave reviews.  We are sure everyone will enjoy it.”

Shatto said if you’ve got a sweet tooth, you’re going to want a bottle. She says it would also makes a great creamer in coffee.

“It’s not too sweet and of course you don’t taste the blue,” owner Barbara Shatto said.  “You just taste the pure vanilla. It is really fun.”

“We always try to come up with something a little bit different,” plant manager Roger Anderson said. “The French vanilla tasted real good, so we went back to the people who we buy supplies from to see if we could get it blue. That’s as blue as you can get.”

The company is delivering 4,000 bottles to grocery stores across the metro on Monday and Tuesday in time for the playoffs. The milk will be sold for the next two weeks.
