For the first time since early 2015, the US Class III milk price has exceeded the $17.00 mark. This week, the USDA announced that the July Federal Order Class III price reached $17.55 per hundredweight. That’s $1.28 more than June’s price and $3.45 higher than July 2018.
The Class IV component price was seven-cents higher than last month at $16.90, and $2.76 more than last year.
