Everyone at Cowsmopolitan wishes to share our most sincere condolences and sympathies to the family, friends and colleagues of Jim Weaver, Weavercroft International in Dorchester, ON, who has passed away.

Jim Weaver, Weavercroft International, PassesJim Weaver was a partner and President of Weavercroft International, a progressive full service export company.  Noted as a game changer in the industry, Weavercroft has over 26 years of experience. The company continues to grow and has developed into one of Canada’s largest more successful exporting companies.  Exporting beef and dairy cattle and more recently sheep and goats to over 22 countries. “We knew in order to be competitive in the export market we needed to provide a full service package,” said Jim in his interview with OAFT in 2013 after a successful partnership with a group in Croatia.  Jim and his team offer experience with selecting, breeding and worldwide export of livestock genetics along with technical assistance specializing in farm management and feed nutrition.

Friends may join the family for Visitation on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm & 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Dorchester Community Church, 3912 Catherine Street, Dorchester.

All are welcome to join the family for a Celebration of Jim’s life on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 12:30pm at the Dorchester Community Church, with Pastor Jeff Strokan officiating. Private family interment at Dorchester Union Cemetery, Dorchester.

Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jim are asked to consider the Dorchester Community Church or Chantal’s Hope, 347 Warren Street, Port Stanley, Ontario N5L 1B5.
