It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father and grandfather, Murray Hipkin at the age of 71. Murray will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years Marlene; son Darren (Stacy); daughter Deanna; and three grandchildren, Shae-Lynn, Carter and Paige. He is predeceased by his parents, George and Shirley Hipkin.
Murray had a passion for agriculture, softball, archery, curling and fishing. This allowed him to spend time with his children and grandchildren.
The memorial service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 10:00 am at Glenwood Funeral Home (South of Wye Road on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park, Alberta).
The family is very grateful to the staff at the Orthopedic Surgery and Care Centre, Royal Alexandra Hospital.
