PASADENA, Calif. — The Stanford band has developed a reputation for its irreverent performances. Before this season, some controversial off-field behavior led to them being banned from delivering their signature skits and voice-overs at road games during the 2015 regular season.But the Cardinal’s band returned with a vengeance. In their first appearance away from Stanford Stadium this season, they upset Iowa fans at halftime of the Rose Bowl Game Presented by Northwestern Mutual by referring to FarmersOnly.com — an online dating site — before simulating cow-tipping.
As expected, Hawkeyes fans — already unhappy with the 35-0 deficit their team was facing — booed the Stanford band mercilessly off the field.
