Visit this website to view the Successful Farming contest rules and details. Entries must be postmarked by June 30, 2015 and be received no later than July 7, 2015.
Applications should not only include the entry form but any supporting material (no more than five illustrations, up to 10 color photos, and/or less than a five-minute video) to clearly describe and demonstrate how your invention works. A complete list of official rules can be found here.
Two finalists
From the entries received, a panel of judges will choose two finalists with the highest total scores based on originality, marketability and sales potential, ease of manufacture, and safety.
Finalists and their products will be featured in an upcoming issue of Successful Farming magazine and showcased at a major agricultural show in 2015 at which time they will receive a $1,500 cash prize. Each finalist will also receive a one-day business consultation with a major manufacturer.
