A new record has been set by the first edition of ‘Perfection Collection’ With a sale average of £4,600 the sale now holds the record for the highest average of its kind in the UK. Saturday the 21st April saw over 800 pedigree enthusiasts descend on Halls’ Shrewsbury Auction Centre to soak up the ‘European Atmosphere’ and take their
opportunity to take home one of the ‘World Class Pedigrees’ on offer. With bidders from 10 different countries and buyers from 7 the bidding was intense and exciting.
Top price of the day was Tynevalley Rubi A Bambi. The first Mr Rubi Agronaut daughter to sell at public auction in Europe and who at £737 PLI sits at number 5 on the official world rankings of PLI Heifers. She was purchased by Mr M Robertson from Bristol at the price of 21,500gns she sold with an embryo contract to her breeders and with AI interest.
Second top price and the highest priced embryo package on the day was the package of Sexed IVF embryos from Rosiers Blexy Goldwyn EX96 sired by Maverick Crush and Blondin Raptor, this time selling to 3,050gns/Egg (18,300gns total) to a syndicate consisting of T. Lomas, M. Roberts, R. Tomkinson, M. Nutsford and R. Lloyd. Again selling with interest from AI companies including Blondin Sires and St. Jacobs ABC.
In the third spot was Lot 1 an exciting prospect for the European Show in Libramont 2019 this was Riverdane Aikman Ghost VG89 3yr Old. She was purchased at 17,000gns by The Sercombe family from Leicestershire.
