Holstein Association USA, Inc., a producer driven dairy breed organization located in picturesque Brattleboro, Vermont, is currently seeking an experienced, dynamic and results-oriented communications professional to lead our communications department.The Communications Manager is responsible for writing the Association’s press releases, preparing articles for and editing The Holstein Pulse, the Association’s quarterly magazine, as well as administering and executing the Association’s advertising and public relations programs.The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in journalism, agricultural communications, public relations, web communications, and/or design. Must have a minimum of three years experience in writing, executing public relations activities; photography and graphic arts. Familiarity with modern web site and social media best practices is required. Knowledge of desktop video production is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a Registered dairy background and dairy production experience.
