Iowa agri-business and individuals have been generously supporting the 2017 National Ayrshire Convention to be held in Des Moines, Iowa.
The early lead sponsors are D and R Feed, Inc., and Victor Oil, Inc., both of Victor, Iowa. Additional sponsors are SCR Dairy by Allflex of Madison, Wisconsin, Realm, Inc., Newton, Iowa, and long-time Iowa Ayrshire breeders Eugene Newell and Garry Zumbach.
“Iowa Ayrshire breeders have staged six successful conventions in the last 60 years, and the 2017 event will be no exception,” stated Finance Director Eric Lang. “Farm businesses understand the importance of livestock, especially milk production, to Iowa’s economy, and they are eager to financially support our efforts.”
