Cowsmopolitan is happy to welcome Jenny Henchoz to the team.
Jenny joined the Cowsmopolitan family this past summer. She looks after advertising and subscription sales for the province of Quebec.
A fabulous addition to our show team at World Dairy Expo, the Royal as well as many shows and sales in Quebec, Jenny has been a valuable asset to help fulfill our mandate of all-breeds coverage at important dairy events.
Jenny brings a wealth of experience to this position. She grew up on a dairy farm in Quebec, Ferme Des Chamois, where she developed a passion for showing and marketing top Ayrshire and Holstein animals.
While studying for her diploma in agriculture, Jenny worked at Holstein Quebec for 4 years as an assistant to the consultants. She then spent 3 months working on a dairy farm in Australia before returning to take a full-time position as Registrar and responsible for Member Services for the Canadian Ayrshire Association. During her years at Ayrshire Canada she took on many responsibilities such as planning major events and working on the Canadian Ayrshire Review, eventually becoming Editor.
Presently Jenny divides her time between Cowsmopolitan and office work for Ferme Blondin. Enthusiasm and Personality are two words that describe Jenny well. She loves to travel and is proud of the few elite animals that she owns and manages with her partners. Her great attitude and beliefs are a perfect fit for Cowsmopolitan whose goal is to promote all aspects of the dairy industry through a top quality magazine and website.

Jenny a rejoint la famille du Cowsmopolitan l’été dernier. Elle est en charge des publicités et des abonnements pour la province du Québec. Une fabuleuse addition à notre équipe qui était présente à la World Dairy Expo, la Royal et bien sûr à plusieurs autres expositions et ventes au Québec, Jenny fut un atout important pour couvrir notre mandat de reporter tous les événements majeurs quelque soit la race.
Jenny amène une riche expérience à ce poste. Elle a grandi sur une ferme laitière au Québec, Ferme Des Chamois, où elle a développé sa passion pour les expositions et la mise en marché des animaux de qualités Ayrshire et Holstein.
Pendant ses études pour l’obtention de son diplôme en agriculture, Jenny a travaillé pendant 4 années à Holstein Québec en tant qu’adjointe aux conseillers. Elle a ensuite passé 3 mois en Australie sur des fermes laitières avant d’accepter un emploi à temps plein en tant que Registraire et Services aux membres pour l’Association Ayrshire du Canada. Durant ses années à l’emploi d’Ayrshire Canada, elle a eu plusieurs responsabilités en tant que planificatrice d’événement majeur et a travaillé pour la Revue Ayrshire Canadienne, pour ensuite en devenir l’éditrice en chef.
Présentement, Jenny sépare son temps entre Cowsmopolitan et un travail en bureautique à la Ferme Blondin.
L’enthousiasme et la persévérence sont deux mots qui décrivent très bien Jenny. Elle aime voyager et elle est fière des quelques animaux d’élite qu’elle possède et gère avec ses partenaires. Sa bonne attitude et ses croyances sont un élément parfait pour Cowsmopolitan dont le but est de promouvoir tous les aspects de l’industrie laitière à travers un magazine de qualité supérieure et le site Internet.
