Cowsmopolitan would like to welcome Janice Baginski of Othello, Washington to the Cowsmo team!
Janice grew up in Guelph, Ontario where she worked for Mt. Elgin Dairy Farms while attending the University of Guelph, completing her B.Sc. in Agriculture, majoring in Animal Science. After finishing at Guelph her passion for photography led her to a diploma in photography from Humber College in Toronto.
Over the last 3 years Janice’s experience with the Ontario Holstein Branch as Western Ontario field representative and as Genetic advisor for Genervations Inc., in British Columbia has provided her with many great opportunities to further her sales, marketing and customer service skills. From recruiting non-member dairy producers, educating farmers on the significance of holding a membership with Holstein Canada to developing new markets Janice has had the opportunity to interact with both breeders and industry members while gaining experience in sales. Along with this experience Janice brings both photography and website skills to the Cowsmopolitan team.
Janice will be responsible for developing a broader marketing base and making Cowsmo more visible throughout the USA. She will work to develop a strong client base in the USA through sales and marketing of subscriptions as well as in print and online advertising. Janice will also be responsible for website maintenance and posts on a part time basis.
Janice lives with her husband Chris and son Nate in Othello, Washington where Chris is involved with his parent’s dairy farm under the Dan-Maur Brown Swiss prefix.
