DG PG Cooper, a bull jointly bred by S J Kat (Challenge Holsteins) and Diamond Genetics has topped the On-Line bull sale, selling for €82,000.
Born in April, his US figures of a GTPI +2789, NM$ +929, combined with exceptional scores for Productive Life (+8.2), Somatic Cell Score (+2.60) and a gPTAT of +2.22, were enhanced by him being BB for Kappa Casein and A2A2 for Beta Casein.
Sired by DG Charley, Cooper’s dam is Europe’s #2 GTPI cow – Corringham KB SS Crimson, a recently fresh Kingboy from the Cosmopolitan family, that sold through the 2015 German Masters Sale for €41,000.
Scoring highly across a number of Genomic systems, and one of the highest sons of DG Charley to ever be offered through public auction, four contending bidders from across Europe and North America were in contention, before bidding closed on the high seller.
