CME Dairy Markets Mostly Up Friday

The dairy markets were mostly up at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Friday. Class III milk for March was up $.08 at $14.12 a hundredweight.  April was up $.09 at $14.09.  May was up $.04 to $14.23.  June was up $.04 at 14.75  With the exception of September, milk futures were also up or unchanged for the next nine months.  

Grade AA Butter was up $.02 at $2.20 per pound.  Seventeen carloads were sold with prices ranging from $2.18 to $2.2025 per pound.

Barrels were up $.0025 at $1.4750 per pound.  Fourteen carloads were traded from $1.4725 to $1.4750.

40-pound blocks were up $.03 at $1.56 per pound.  No blocks were traded.

Nonfat dry milk was down $.01 at $.6625 per pound.  Three carloads traded between $.066 and $.067 per pound.
