The Swiftflo Revolver Goat Rotary from Dairymaster was  Shortlisted by the RABDF  for the Machinery and Equipment Award at Livestock Event 2015. The Dairymaster Swiftflo Goat Rotary is capable of milking 1,000 goats per hour.

It has been designed to give optimum operator and goat comfort. The  unique design means that shorter milking tubes are used which reduces maintenance costs and improves milking characteristics. The cluster is conveniently located directly under the goat’s teats in the platform of the rotary. It  won the  Eurotier Gold Medal for new innovation in milking goats. The MooMonitor+ was Shortlisted for the RABDF Prince Philip Award at Livestock Event 2015. The MooMonitor+ allows farmers detect heats with ease, through advanced data analysis. It can also monitor a cow’s daily behaviour and accurately identifies specific types of behaviour such as heat, feeding, rumination and wellness, resting, head position and restlessness. The system makes life easier for the farmer and improves the fertility and health status of each cow.

A research study undertaken at Kansas State University and published  in the Journal of Dairy Science specifically stated that scanning by the MooMonitor were in estrus. This compared favourably with other systems tested which were 70% to 80% accurate.

One English customer Mark Simpson who milks 580 cows at the Cleave Farm Partnership in Bideford on Yell, Devon (Phone: 01805623671) says that he  recovered his investment costs in less than six months. Their calving index improved from 405 to 380 days and 85% of heifers were pregnant on sexed semen.
