Owners Tim and Sharyn Abbott, working with herd manager Steve Wagner, are excited to officially kick off their new adventure… Borderview Genetics. Tim & Sharyn’s goal at Borderview remains the same as in previous endeavors: to own some of the best type genetics in the cattle breeding business.
Primarily focusing on Holsteins, they will use IVF and ET extensively to multiply the top females in the herd, aiming to have cattle and embryos for sale in all price ranges for customers from all parts of the world and with a variety of genetic goals.
Perhaps their most famous herd member is Dundee Hezbollah, the EX-92 All-American and All-Canadian Senior 2yr Old in 2009 who has proven to be an exemplary brood cow and continues to make eggs on a monthly basis.
Other highlights include the 2015 Reserve Junior All-American 5yr Old, Kingsway Goldwyn Abba Dabba-ET, EX-94 who goes back to Terrason Allie, EX-95 as well as their latest acquisition, Pierstein Damion Lindsay-ET, EX-94, a maternal sister to the Grand Champion of the 2016 Royal with loads of potential.
