Lot 5…First Choice Defiant x EX91-2E L-Maples Advent Cait-Red
Selling on February 19th at the Wisconsin Convention Futures Sale is a first choice Defiant female, from four IVF pregnancies due in September 2016. The calves are daughters of L-Maples Advent Cait-Red EX91-2E. In her own right Cait has placed in the top 5 at World Dairy Expo four times, and was the Grand Champion of the Midwest Red & White Summer Show in 2012. Cait is an Advent from an EX91-3E Rubens.
These Defiant calves are maternal sisters to L-Maples Hvezda Calli-Red EX92. Callie took the colored shavings by storm last fall, being selected as the Grand Champion of the Red & White Show at the Royal Winter Fair, after winning the Junior 3 Year Old Class at World Dairy Expo and being selected as the Supreme Champion at the All-American Dairy Show in Harrisburg, PA. Calli was the Unanimous All-American Red & White Junior 3 Year Old in 2015 and Junior 2 Year Old in 2014. She was also nominated All-American Holstein Junior 3 Year Old in 2015. In 2013, she was nominated All-American Red & White Spring Yearling, following being named the All-American Red & White Spring Calf in 2012.
