After the 10th International Symposium on the Nutrition of Herbivores (ISNH), a satellite conference dedicated to acidosis and rumen health will be organized by Lallemand Animal Nutrition in partnership with the French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA). The satellite conference, titled “Multi-dimension of acidosis and rumen health, a key challenge in the context of livestock precision farming”, will take place on Thursday, September 6 from 13:30 to 18.30, in Clermont-Ferrand Polydôme, in France.
During the satellite conference, a selection of international ruminant experts will discuss the risk factors linked to feeding management and the strategies to limit these risks. Taking a microbiologist approach, the conference will then demonstrate how the invisible can become visible, by looking at the rumen microbiota modes of actions and interactions, and direct and indirect consequences on animal health and behavior.
