Agriculture for Life Launches #farmbabies17 Photo Contest

Agriculture for Life (Ag for Life), is launching the #farmbabies17 photo contest, an Alberta-wide contest with over $600 in prizes available to be won.

Ag for Life will be sharing the entries on our social media streams and then compiling the pictures into a video showing the different breeds of livestock that are raised in Alberta, to support our agriculture education programs.

“Our #farmbabies16 contest is a fun way to welcome spring on the farm,” says Luree Williamson, CEO Ag for Life.  “Farmers and farm families spend countless hours caring for the new arrivals and sharing these photos and stories help to educate Albertan’s about life on the farm and the vital role agriculture plays in our lives,” adds Williamson.  “Many people do not understand the dedication and care that goes into raising livestock. We want to share this story and assist in building public trust.”
