The 15th Annual WI Jersey Spring Spectacular will be held April 26 and 27 in Viroqua, WI. This event continues to showcase some of the finest registered Jerseys in the Midwest. Jersey Breeders and enthusiasts travel many miles for this great Jersey event. The weekend begins on Friday at 2:30 with showmanship for the Jr Exhibitors in the Hanson Show arena at the Vernon County Fairgrounds. At 6pm is the WI Jersey Spring Spectacular Sale, with 59 animals cataloged for the sale plus 4 Badger Treasury Claves – sponsored by the WI Jersey Breeders Association and the sale of PVFVW Paxton Melanie an animal bred by Peter Erbach of Verona which has been donated in support of the WI Jersey Futurity. There also is a silent auction hosted by the WI JR Jersey Breeders.
On Saturday Morning April 27 the show begins at 9am with the Winter Calves. The judge for this years event is Robert Yeoman of Dover, OK. The milking cow classes will begin at 12:30, this years show has over 200 entries and is sure to continue in the tradition that has grown this show into one of the nations best.
