The 27th edition of the World Classic sale held October 2nd at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin concluded with an average of $27,757 and grossed $1,304,600 on 47 lots! Cattle sold to 12 states, three Canadian provinces and dispersed through three countries.
High Seller – Lot 10 for $117,000, GIL-GAR SSHOT FAITH-ET a Cogent Supershot daughter at GTPI +2782
she sold with a Japanese embryo contract. She was consigned by Stelling Farms Inc., MN and was purchased by Triple Crown Genetics & Abe Light, ID.
2nd high seller Lot 9 for $100,000, PEAK LACH SSHOT 1217-ET, Cogent Supershot daughter with a GTPI +2718. She was consigned by Peak Genetics, WI and purchased by Seagull Bay Holsteins, ID.
3rd high seller was lot 30 at $97,000 GREEN-BANKS MONTERY 6304-ET a February heifer, Mogul-free pedigree contract with Genes Diffusion. She was the consignment of Green-Banks Farm, NY and purchased by Peak Genetics, WI.
Lot 1 sold for $67,000 MS APPLE ARYANE-ET, a daughter of Apple #1 Type Heifer of Breed at +4.12. Buyer – Westcoast Holsteins
