Woodcrest Bridge to Excellence III 2016

The third edition of the Woodcrest Bridge to Excellence Sale took place on Saturday, April 23. One hundred and one lots averaged $2,712.

Two lots tied for the sale top at $6,500.

Woodcrest Supersh Fright-ET, a +2603GTPI Cogent Supershot is a 7/15 daughter of Woodcrest Mogul France-ET (GP-82, 2y) is also the dam of Woodcrest Freedom +2566GTPI +3.01T +3.22UDC. The next 9 dams are VG or EX in the Morningview Converse Judy (EX-93 GMD DOM) family.The new owner is Mark Comfort of Cardinal, ON, Canada.

The other entry struck off at $6,500 was the guest consignment from Endeavor Genomic Holsteins LLC. A 1/16 Coyne-Farms Sympati Pat-Red daughter with a PTA of +2680GTPI, Endco Pat Army-ET *RC is one of the highest GTPI red carrier heifers in the world.  Reviewing her pedigree reveals that her second dam is a maternal sister to KHW Regiment Apple-RED-ET (3E-96 DOM). Her dam completes eight VG or EX generations. She is now the property of Sexing Technologies, LLC of Navasota, Texas.

There was a tie for the 2^nd high price of the day at $6,000. Oakfield Corners Dairy of Oakfield, NY claimed Woodcrest Supersire Maelie.  A 8/14 Supersire that is due 7/16 to Yoder, her GTPI is +2605. Her dam is a VG-86 DOM Snowman, with nine VG or EX dams in the Sully Shottle May family.

Woodcrest Kingboy Maple-ET was the other sale entry at $6,000. This 9/14 Kingboy is due 10/1 to Jedi . Maple’s GTPI of +2561 will result in her Jedi being built in at +2671PTPI. She is out of S-S-I Uno Meade 8469-ET (VG-85) and eight more VG or EX dams in the Roylane Shot Mindy Family. She was purchased on a bid from Ian Richardson of Cormack, NL, Canada.

Cattle sold to eleven states and three countries.
