The Southern Spring National Jersey Show took place today in Stillwater, OK, with Brian Behnke holding down the center position in the ring as official judge while placing 91 head. The partnership of Red Dirt Genetics and On The Go Genetics claimed both the Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion titles. Tapped as Grand Champion was Lylestanley Deacon Francine 1975-P, the 1st place 4-year-old and Reserve Grand was the winning 5-year-old, Random Luck T Heather.
Ratliff Jerseys exhibited both the Intermediate and Reserve Intermediate Champions with two homebred cows. Ratliff Dually Atlee-ET, 1st senior 3-year-old, was crowned Intermediate Champion and her stablemate, Ratliff Colton Vivi-ET, won the junior 2-year-old class on the way to Reserve Intermediate Champion honors.
Along with the Premier Breeder and Exhibitor banners, the Ratliff string also took home the purple ribbon for Junior Champion with their winning fall calf, Woodmohr Townside Sheriff Vision, while Buster Goff had the Reserve Junior Champion with his fall yearling, Goff Andreas 33073.
