Another edition of the New York Spring Holstein Sale is in the books at the New York Spring Dairy Carousel in Syracuse, NY. Grossing just over $563,000, the sale averaged an impressive $6,912 on 95 lots. The sale is sponsored by the New York Holstein Association and managed by The Cattle Exchange. Dave Rama took charge in the box, calling the sale while Horace Backus handled the announcements.

The top selling lot for the evening was found in Lot 3, bringing $37,000. A January 2015 +2659GTPI Silver, Seagull-Bay Slvr Holly-ET was the consignment of Seagull Bay Dairy, ID.
The second high price of the night was Lot 2 Synergy Stgy KB 937-ET, bringing $36,000 for her consignors, Peak Genetics. She is a December 2014 Kingboy coming in at +2651GTPI.
