Minnesota Fall Harvest Holstein Sale 2016

The Minnesota Fall Harvest Holstein Sale 2016 was held on November 19th in Hutchinson, MN.

The top seller of the sale was Summer Dream 1985 M2510-ET selling for $11,250. She is a September +2733GTPI +7.2PL Modesty from a +2418GTPI Reflector out of a VG86-DOM Robust followed by 9 generations of VG & EX dams from the Barbie family. She was the consignment of James Vierhout, IA.

Commanding the price of $6,000 to be the second high seller was Lot 8, Melarry Modesty Soncha-ET. Soncha is a +2630GTPI +6.8PL April 2016 Modesty from a +2407GTPI Main Event out of a VG87 Snowman sister to Sympatico. She is further backed by ten generations of EX & VG dams.

The third high price paid for the day was $5,000 for Lot 10, Mercedes Jedi Leah 10043. She is a +2663GTPI July 2016 Jedi from a GP83 Liquid Gold out of a VG85 Facebook, with five more generations of VG & EX dams, consigned by Myles Cowan, ON.

Lot 12 sold for $4,800. Dyk-Vue Durham Adore-ET is a June 2016 Durham daughter of Lindenright Goldwyn Adore-ET EX94-4E, followed by five more generations of EX & VG dams, consigned by Larry Dykstra, IA.

Rounding out the top five high sellers is lot 26 bringing $4,200. EDG Caitlyn Rub 60449-ET, a +2557GTPI Rubicon due in February, from a GP82 Doorman followed by 10 generations of VG & EX dams from the Chassity family, consigned by Dan Kaufmann, SD.

The Minnesota Fall Harvest Holstein Sale 2016 is set for Saturday, November 19th at 11am at the McLeod County Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, MN. The sale will feature 92 lots.
