Midwest Spring Special Jersey Sale 2016

The Midwest Spring Special Jersey Sale 2016 was held Wednesday, March 23rd at the Olmsted County Fairgrounds in Rochester, MN and averaged $3,100 on 86 lots. The sale was managed by Greg & Ole Nelson.

Two lots tied as top seller in the sale, bringing $11,000 each. one of these was Lot 3, Woodmohr Dynasty, selling for $11,000. Dynasty is a September 2014 Gentry from an EX91 Verbatim who was nominated ABA All-American Senior 2 Year old in 2015, out of an EX95 . She was consigned by Woodmohr Jerseys, WI, and purchased by Arne, Ashley & Andy Gruenes, MN.

Also selling for $11,000 to tie as top seller was Rosebuds Exciting Rumor-ET, selling as lot 10. Rumor is a June 2015 Excitation from an EX94 Indiana, and is a full sister to 3x Reserve All-American & 2x Reserve All-Canadian Marynole Excite Rosey EX93. She was the consignment of Kueffner, Packard & O’Keefe, MD and also purchased by Arne, Ashley & Andy Gruenes, MN.

Second high selling lot at $8,900 was Lot 18, the choice of a J-Kay Tequila Fizz daughter from either Ratliff Price Alicia EX95, 3x National Champion, or a Fizz daughter from Arethusa Primetime Deja Vu EX95, a daughter of Huronia Centurion Veronica EX97. This choice was consigned by Ron & Christy Ratliff, KS. Dave Roffee, FL was the final bidder.

Following at $8,600 to be the third high seller was Lot 37, a first choice of five Marlo calves, due in July, out of a +166 Nitro daughter of D&E Paramount Violet EX90. This choice was consigned by Staci Sexton, MN, and purchased by Travis Lenertz, MN.

Two lots also tied for the fourth high seller at $6,200, including Lot 19, Rolling River Pressly EX92. Pressly is a Hired Gun 5 Year Old from an EX93 Minister, with two more generations of EX dams behind her. She was consigned by Mike & Dan Brasch, MN and purchased by Lane Johnson, MN.

Also selling for $6,200 was Lot 7, a Hired Gun Senior 2 Year Old for 2016, fresh in March. Rolling River Hired Assassin was the HM All-American Fall Yearling for 2015, and is out of an EX93 Laser. She was consigned by Mike and Dan Brasch. She was purchased by Brasch & Stadview.
