It was a beautiful fall day in Avon, NY for the 3rd Legends of the Fall sale to be held at Coyne Farms. Dick, Jerry, Greg, Shaun, Malachy, Brian and Steven Coyne are the team that makes this 100 year old dairy operation the success that it is. As usual, the cattle were top genomics and high type. Prepared expertly by Nathan Thomas, Pat Lundy, Anthony Liddle and crew, they were sold by Chris Hill and Brian Craswell. The sale was managed by Jeff Butler and Ed Fellers and averaged $14,100.

Lot 1 – $97,000 – an April ’02 Regancrest Beau daughter, GTPI 2506 and one of the breeds highest for PTAT and Foot and Leg Composite
Lot 2 – $82,000 – a well-grown, straight, Uno daughter, with a GTPI of 2526 from a long line of VG and EX dams
Lot 5 – $85,000 – a super-fancy June Cameron, the highest GTPI Cameron of the breed with a GTPI of +2546
Lot 6 – $42,500 – well balanced, from 7 generations of EX, GTPI 2398

Lot 7 – $24,000 – From the red hot Aiko family at KHW and a Colt P

Lot 8 – $7,000

Lot 9 – $27,000 – a choice consigned by Elite Dairy Genomics out of Shotglass from a Robust

Lot 10 – $27,000 – A Cashmoney choice from an the breeds #1 Man-O-Man

Lot 11 – $20,000 – A choice Numero Uno with a built in PA of +2520 GTPI

Lot 12 – $20,000 – A Massey choice from 10 transfers made in September

Lot 13 – $9500 and Lot 14 – $11,700 were the consignments of the hosts, Coyne farms

Lot 15 – $20,000 – A choice from a Mascalese x Chassity with a PA of +2184

Lot 16A – $25,000 – Lot 16B – $15,000 were Doorman choices from Cashbust who is a sister to Cashcoin and Cashmoney

Lot 17 – $20,000 – A Massey from a Snowman with a PA of +2346

Lot 18 – $18,000 – A Sajac choice due in June, 2013

Lot 31 – $33,500 – A consignment of Mike Welu and tied for the #1 Boy-O-Boy of the breed
