The Kueffner Holstein & Jersey Sale 2016 took place on September 13th at Penncroft Holsteins in Belleville, PA. The sale averaged $11,742 average on 48 Holsteins and $13,421 on 34 Jerseys.
The sale was one for the records, as the Jersey portion of the sale boasts the highest averaging Jersey sale ever, nearly $1,800 over the previous top sale!
Topping the sale at $185,000 was Lot J1, Chilli Premier Cinema-ET EX93, the ABA All-American Junior 3 Year Old for 2015, a Premier four year old from Family Hill Connection Chilli-ET EX91. She sold to Rivendale Farm, PA.
Second high seller at $90,000 was Lot H1, Maplekeys Sid Odyssey EX92 (max), the 2014 Reserve All-America & Reserve All-Canadian, a Sid from an EX93 Goldwyn followed by nine generations of EX & VG dams.
Lot J33 sold for $65,000 to be the third high seller. South Mountain Santanas Spirit-ET is a Junior 2 Year Old Comerica from South Mountain Santana EX92, followed by six generations of EX & VG dams from the Renn Sofie family.
Fourth high seller was Lot H5 at $40,000. Penncross Theodorable-ET VG89, an Attic Senior 2 Year Old out of Ernest-Anthony Ms Theory-ET EX95, a Fever daughter of Ernest-Anthony Thriller-ET EX95-2E, followed by Ernest-Anthony Tyra-ET EX94-GMD-DOM and then C Alanvale Inspiration Tina EX95-2E-GMD-DOM.
