THANK YOU to the buyers and bidders at our very successful Genetic Super Bowl II sale this past Saturday. The sale averaged $3159 on 61 lots. High seller was the IVF session on Siemers Doc Hanan 28286-ET at $10,000, purchased by D. Hurst from Pennsylvania. High selling live animal was Lot 22 – a Doorman daughter from the Camomile family purchased by Jon Mortensen of Idaho. Volume buyer of the sale was RuAnn dairy who took home 8 lots.

Rich Denier, partner in Cal-Denier Holsteins at Galt, Calif., has announced his second “Genetic Super Bowl II 2022” sale. Another sale of the highest quality Holstein genetics will be held February 5th at the Turlock Livestock Auction Yard in Turlock, Calif. Featured will be 60 lots of Registered Holstein heifers, including 25 daughters of 94 point cows and 20 daughters of 93 point cows.
“We’re very pleased with the quality of cattle that we are able to offer,” says sale host Rich Denier.
The selection will include many show prospects for upcoming fairs and junior shows along with high quality foundation herd replacements. Included will be many daughters of cows that were All-American, Reserve or Nominated in recent years, combining outstanding pedigrees for high type and high production. Dams are cows such as Delta Missy 4212, Annelise, Lucky Rose, Ariel, … and more.
In 2021, Denier Genetics sold a number of winners at local fairs including the Supreme Champion Junior Replacement Heifer and the Grand Champion 2-year-old Replacement Heifer at the Madera Fair in September, the Merced Fair Supreme Champion Replacement Heifer and the Chowchilla Fair Grand and Reserve Grand 2-year-old Replacement Heifers.
