Ferme Jocelyn Cote and Friends Sale 2016

The Vente Jocelyn Cote & Friends was held on Friday, March 25th in St-Hyacinthe, QC. The sale averaged $4,780 on the Holsteins and $ 5,370 on the Jerseys.

The top seller of the day at $30,000 was Lot 100, Marlau Tequila Farren VG87. Farren was the All-Canadian and All-Quebec Junior 2 Year Old after winning at last fall’s Royal Winter Fair. She is a Tequila from a VG87 Furor, followed by two more EX91 dams. Farren’s maternal sister, Marlau Comerica Fabienne EX94 was also All-Canadian and All-American in 2011. Farren was consigned by Alicia & Justin Veronneau, QC and will find her new home at River Valley Jerseys, IL.

The top selling Holstein of the day brought $27,000. Selling as Lot 1 was Gold Barbara After Blush, a December 2014 Aftershock daughter of Butz-Butler Gold Barbara EX93, who as named All-Canadian in 2012 and All-American in 2013 and 2014. Blush was consigned by St. Jacobs ABC and Brenland Holsteins, VT. She was purchased by Clarkwoodmansee, CT.
