Bo Joy/Graystone Complete Dispersal 2017

The Bo Joy/Graystone Complete Dispersal 2017 took place March 11th and wrapped up with an average of $2,734 on 147 Lots.

Topping the sale at $26,000 was Lot 4, Bo Joy Jet Pilot Gelindy-ET, a VG87 Jet Pilot daughter of Bo Joy Ensign Glee 2E-94,  the 2010 All-American Aged Cow, who was also a 2x All-American. Glee is a daughter of Bo Joy Emory Gretchen 2E-93.

Second high seller of the day was Lot 1, selling for $21,000. Bo Joy Ensign Miss Gee-ET is a VG89 Ensign daughter of Bo Joy Emory Gretchen 2E-93, and was also the 2014 All-American Milking Yearling. Miss Gee sold fresh again in December.

The third high seller of the sale was Get-R-Done Kingpin Galaxy, a consignment of Craig Walton & Donald Harwood, MD. Galaxy sold for $13,200 and is a Kingpin Spring Yearling out of Get-R-Done Braiden Gigi 2E-92, a 2013 All-American nomination in the Senior 3 Year Old class. Gigi is followed by six more generations of VG & EX dams from the Gretchen family.

Lot 2 was the fourth high selling lot at $7,200. Bo Joy Bonanza Geena is a Senior 2 Year Old Bonanza daughter of Miss Gee VG89, the 2014 All-American Milking Yearling.

The fifth high selling lot was also the top selling Jersey lot. Lot 98, PA Stone Mill Shot of Tequila, sold for $7,000. She is a Tequila Winter Yearling for this year, from an EX91 Iatola dam, followed by four more generations of EX dams and was consigned by Bryant & Holly Hlavaty, PA.

Rounding out the top six high selling lots was Lot 40, selling for $6,700. Terra Rose Go Shelby-ET is an EX90 Gotcha daughter of Kulp-Gen Starbuck Shania 4E-94 2x All-American, followed by four more generations of EX cows. Shelby was a consignment from Arielle Chard, NJ.

The sale will feature 153 lots of Brown Swiss, Jerseys and Holsteins, with online bidding available on Cowbuyer.
