The Alberta Dairy Congress recorded sales of $121,750.00 on the sale of 51 animals at the 28th Annual Dairy Congress, held in Leduc, Alberta on Friday, June 6, 2014.
The average sale per cow was $2,387.25 which was up from last year’s average of $2,209.75. An increase of $177.50 /lot over 2013.
The Congress high seller went to Serli Braxton Cindi. Cindi is a VG-85 Braxton from 3 generations EX dams and from the same family as Jed Cam EX-94 3E 3*. Consigned by Wendon Holsteins (Don & Wendy Chalack and Family) from Innisfail, Alberta and sold to T & L Cattle Company from Rosedale, B.C. for $4,800.00.
