Leah Locks in the Title of Supreme Champion Heifer

On a night like no other in World Dairy Expo history, Genesee Altitude Leah emerged from a tunnel of smoke as the 2024 Supreme Champion Heifer. Leah is owned by Doeberiener & Bowden, Conroy, Clarkvalley and Osinga from West Salem, Ohio. This remarkable Spring Yearling Holstein heifer achieved this honor in the new divided Supreme Ceremony. Milk Source A Tierney-Red-ET, a stylish Red & White Fall Heifer Calf owned by Clarkvalley, Pierre Boulet, and Jeff & Jim Butler from Woodville, Ontario, claimed the title of Reserve Supreme Champion Heifer.

Pit-Crew Collaps Talista, the winning Brown Swiss Summer Yearling, was named Supreme Champion Heifer of the Junior Show. Talista is leased by Allison Foss and owned by Pit-Crew Genetics, making history as the first Brown Swiss to win this title since the start of the Supreme Champion ceremony for heifers in 2018.  It was another win for the Red & Whites, as Red-Violet The North-Red-ET, a Winter Heifer Calf, took home the title of Reserve Supreme Champion Heifer of the Junior Show. She is owned by Hailey Abraham and Ella Spiniolas from Harvard, Illinois.

Companies sponsoring the awards presented to World Dairy Expo’s Supreme Champion Heifers include Trans Ova Genetics, Golden Calf Company, the DeWall family, the Michael Hellendbrand Memorial Fund, Scott & Nikki Culbertson, Ebert Enterprises LLC and Duane T. Cole, DDS.
