Western Spring National Heritage Sale Averages $3,267

The Western Spring National Heritage Sale took place on Tuesday evening, May 17th, 2022 in Richmond, Utah. Held in conjunction with the Western Spring National Holstein Show, the sale averaged $3,267 on 33 live lots – one of the highest sale averages of recent years.

Lot 1 was the sale topper at $7,300 – Ernest-Anthony Debutante-ET, a fresh Diamondback junior 2-year-old out of Cache-Valley Lheros 2331-ET EX-96 3E (better known as Dezi). Dezi was the unanimous All-American and All-Canadian 5-Year-Old in 2015, and was bred right down the road from the sale at Harris Dairyland. She completes three EX dams back to West-Wind-Acres Lead Dezi EX-95 3E, who was nominated All-American Lifetime Production Cow in 2008.

Second high seller at $6,100 was Lot 19 – Cranehill Moovin 19109-Red-ET, 1/21 Moovin out of Luck-E Doc Awuki VG-88, the Reserve Junior All-American Junior 2-Year-Old in 2021. Moovin 19109-Red carried +3.40T and +2.95UDC numbers and is a potential 10th generation VG or EX.
