On the first Saturday in July, Holstein Switzerland meets to honor the breeders and deserving cows and spend a day in a friendly atmosphere. The main goal of the Holstein Awards is to thank and encourage breeders to continue their efforts in the evolution of the Holstein breed.
Reserved for Holstein breeders and their families from all over Switzerland, the Holstein Awards are organized each year in a different canton according to a principle of rotation between the 7 different election circles.
