The Crossbrook Jersey Jubilee was held April 7th at the NY Spring Dairy Carousel in Syracuse, NY. The sale averaged $5,651.
The top seller of the day was Lot 2 Dixies Showdown Delight-ET, selling for $29,000. Delight is an October 2015 Showdownd daughter of Crossbrook HG Dixie EX93, due in August to Colton. She was consigned by Jon Prokop, NY and purchased by Ernie Kueffner, MD.
The second high seller at $26,000 was Lot 27 Jasmari Verb Lil Verona-ET VG89. Verona is a Senior 2 Year Old Verb, fresh in December, out of 2x Reserve All-American Edn-Ru Tequila Lilaes Lilac EX93. Verona was consigned by Spatz Cattle Co., PA. Michael Heath & Jon Prokop, NY were the successful bidders.
The third high price of the day was $22,000 paid for Lot 24, Underground Mammy Montana VG89, the 2016 All-American Milking Yearling. Montana is an Applejack from an EX92 J Imperial followed by six more generations of EX dams from the Mamie cow family. She was consigned by Jon Prokop, NY and purchased by Gene Iager, MD.
Crossbrook Comerica Donna-ET sold as Lot 8 for $20,500 to be the fourth high seller. Donna was consigned by Jon Prokop and is a Senior 2 Year Old Comerica daughter of Arethusa Veronicas Dasher EX95, followed by Veronica EX97. Donna was purchased by Gene Iager, MD.
Rounding out the top five high sellers was Lot 29, bringing $20,000, Elliotts AJ Chicago-ET. Chicago is a September 2016 Applejack from Chilli Premier Cinema-ET EX93, the 2015 ABA All-American Jr 3 Year Old. Cinema is a Premier from EX91 Family Hill Connection Chilli, a daughter of Pleasant Nook F Prize Circus EX97. Chicago was consigned by Ernie Kueffner, MD and purchased by Mike Hellenbrand, WI.
