The International Intrigue 2016 took place on Saturday, July 30th at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, WI. The sale averaged $9,293 on 55 live lots, and was managed by Butler Auctions.
The top seller of the evening was Lot 1, Trefle Chassep Doorman, selling for $200,000. Chassep is a Doorman Junior 2 Year Old, nominated All-American Spring Yearling in 2015, from a VG87 Atwood followed by nine generations of EX & VG dams including Chassity. Chassep was consigned by Doeberiener, Dyment & Heath, OH and purchased by Milk Source Genetics, WI.
Second high seller at $45,000 was Lot 21, Endco Denver Exacta-ET, a February 2016, a +2758GTPI Denver from a +2415 Balisto from a VG86 Epic followed by 8 generations of EX dams. She was consigned by Endeavor Genomic Holsteins, IN.
The third high seller sold for $21,000. Selling as Lot 30 was a first choice Jedi or Helix due in March from a +2632GTPI Supershot with 7 more EX or VG dams, consigned by Larry Wenger, PA.
The fourth high price of the evening was paid for Lot 25. Progenesis Capitalgain Bonn-ET sold for $20,100. She is a +2658GTPI Capital Gain from a +2577GTPI Supersire from the Juror Faith family, and was consigned by Jerry Jorgenson, MI.
Lot 18 rounded out the top five high sellers, bringing $17,000. Tuytel Atw Barbra 9-ET is a VG88 Atwood daughter of Butz-Butler Gold Barbara EX95, 3x Unanimous All-American. She was consigned by Endeavor Genomic Holsteins, IN.
