Crown of Roses Sale 2016

The Crown of Roses Sale 2016 was held at Gen-Com Holsteins in Notre-Dame-du Bon-Conseil, QC on April 16th. The sale averaged $6136 on 117 lots, including 43 cows and 74 heifers.

The Top Seller for the day was Lot 1, Gen-Com Lauthority Hailstyle VG87-2YR. Hailstyle was purchased by Black Forest Farm, BC for $84,000.  She is a Lauthority sister to the famous RF Goldwyn hailey EX97-4E-5*.

Second high seller at $27,000 was Lot 52, Gen-Com Windbrook Indonesie VG87-2YR. She was purchased by La Ponderosa Holsteins, Spain & Malic Holsteins, QC.

The third high seller at $25,000 was Lot 77, Hodglynn Dynasty Licorice EX93, bringing $25,000. Licorice was the 2nd Senior 2 Year Old at the 2013 Royal Winter Fair, and was purchased by Gerald Todd & Ferme Ralston, QC.

Other highlights included:
Lot 30 – $23,000 Gen-Com Absolute Marcya (Daughter of Charwill Attic Marcy Ex-95), Gen-Com Holsteins, QC
Lot 18 – $22,500 Gen-Com Goldwyn Hadley (Full sister to Hailey Ex-97 4E 5*, due in September x Jacoby), Gerald Todd & Lookout Holsteins, QC
