CHARLTON, Jean (née Moffat) – Passed away unexpectedly at home with her husband and best friend Murray by her side on Tuesday February 9, 2016, at the age of 51 years. Loving mother of Nicole and Jennifer. Cherished daughter of Helen and the late Robert Moffat (2006). Much loved sister of Laura (Richard) Vanderveen. Dear aunt of Robert, Megan, Faith and Benjamin. Jean was a proud partner of Charbend Farm for 27 years. She was an active supporter of Salt Springs Church and more recently Langford Community Church. Jean was also an active promoter of agriculture and the dairy industry. The family will receive friends at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME , 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Friday February 12, 2016 from 3 – 5 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment Salt Springs Cemetery. Donations in memory of Jean can be made to the Ontario Holstein Dairy Youth Trust Fund, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Salt Springs Church Historical Society.
