Australian Holstein Showcase Sale 2015

The Australian Holstein Showcase averaged $5,877 on 41 Lots.

The sale topper at $15,000 was Glomar Supersire Lady consigned by Johnston family and was purchaed by Mervyn Nelson, Northern Ireland. Supersire Lady is out of Glomar Roumare Lady, the number one indexed cow in Australia with a Balanced Production Index of +438, Type Weighted Index at +404 and Health Weighted Index at +285.

Second high price on the evening was $13,700 for Adejama Atley Perfection 3909-ET. She was consigned by AL & JM Hogg, Biggara, Vic. and purchased by Rengaw Holsteins, Lockington, Vic.

High volume buyers included Peatling family, Moonshay Park, Toolamba, Vic (three at an average $7267) and Green Glory Holsteins (three at an average of $9000).
