Young cattle breeding enthusiasts aged 16–26 can be in with a shot of winning an elite Holstein embryo package and an all-inclusive trip to Holland with the Cogent Futures programme 2015.

The annual competition offers a unique opportunity for participants to get their first taste of life as a Sire Analyst as well as providing a comprehensive introduction to genetics.

As part of the experience, candidates will be given the chance to visit a range of dairy herds throughout the UK and will be assessed on their ability to select potential bull mothers and match these cows to a suitable sire.
